Growing up, I've always been a believer that real football is played in Texas, starting in high school, starting in little league. I mean to bring (the title) back to where it comes from, that's my plan.

I take this game personally. I was on the sidelines last year (in Texas' 38-37 Rose Bowl victory against Michigan). I had tears in my eyes. I wanted to be a part of it so bad.

We know we don't get a lot of attention. We just feel we're a numbers team. We let our numbers speak for us.

It was a difficult thing. I decided I would do everything I could to get back here.

Our plan is to bring this thing back to Texas, where it belongs in the South. Growing up, I've always been a believer that real football is played in Texas.

I see him all the time. I try to get away from him sometimes.

I'm sure that will surprise some people.

It's the first day of spring drills. I'm not even thinking about Vince right now. I don't think anybody on this team is thinking about Vince right now. We're thinking about defending what people are going to be coming to our house to get.

We all have different kind of games, but similar kind of games. I'm more of a between-the-tackles bruiser.
