The kids came out and shot well. We hit four 3s in that first quarter.
Both times we had a five-point lead when he hit those.
We hit 7 of 8 free throws when they started fouling. We just stepped up and hit the big free throws.
Danny Colley played well and we were 71 percent from the free throw line.
Our game plan was to go to them, but that's too many of our points.
That's the best defense we've played. Our kids just played hard. They came out in the second half and got some stops.
They picked up the pace for us defensively.
We played pretty well defensively for those first three quarters, and we kind of value that. Once we get a stop, we try to get something good.
I told our kids after the game that I couldn't ask any more out of them tonight.
