Even the No. 1 teams who are expected to do well are on opposite ends of the bracket. This year that's just the way it turned out. It's a good draw and should be a great tournament as a result.

All of a suddenly something will get them going. Something will get their excitement up, and we'll get a run going. That's been our story all year. It's fun to watch when they're playing like that.

James kept everybody pumped up during timeouts and heading into the overtime. He didn't get mad and just sit on the bench. He's a leader even when he's not in the game.

My kids played extremely hard and they have nothing to be ashamed of. They executed the game plan perfectly, but King's picked up their defense and made it hard for us to get good shots at the end.

Josh has a real tough bracket, two kids that are 35-1 in the same side of the bracket as he is. Sam and Max are not sitting too bad.

They wrestled well. Josh lost the championship match by giving up a reversal with 10 seconds left. Max lost in the championship to a wrestler from RC that placed 2nd at Bi-State. Sam won in the championship by 14. He looked really good on Saturday.

I thought we should have had a few more advance to sectionals.

That was kind of a tough break there. You pull it out to play for one shot and instead they get the steal and take it in. Was that Skillman? Number 14? He had a great game. Awesome game.

The kids are definitely hurting, but I think we'll come back and play well tomorrow. I know they'll want to give a big effort in their last game.
