Having some kind of political kangaroo court was not the intent of the framers of the constitution and is not the intent of the speaker of the house. He considers the integrity of the Legislature and the judiciary very important.

There's growing concern within the Republican Party of continuing to introduce this divisive legislation. We don't think there's some cottage industry of homosexual adoptions. We do believe people are losing their jobs.
