"Santonio Holmes Jr." is a wide receiver who is currently a free agent. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft after playing college football at Ohio State Buckeyes football/Ohio State. In 2009, Holmes was named MVP of Super Bowl XLIII. Holmes was traded to the New York Jets in 2010 in exchange for the Jets' fifth round pick and after performing well, he was signed to a five-year extension during the offseason. He was criticized after he was benched for arguing with a teammate at the end of the 2011 NFL season/2011 season and his 2012 NFL season/2012 season ended prematurely after suffering a lisfranc injury.

I haven't seen (Ginn) run any real routes,'' said senior defensive back Cedric Griffin.

Work well with the offense. We can run and throw effectively with both of them. It does not matter who starts, because we have 100 percent confidence in both of them.

In the heat of that battle, rotating was kind of frustrating for those guys. With the situation now being settled, I think our offense and our team will be more comfortable with it.

It's not that I think I'm better than (other receivers), but you have to have confidence in yourself, ... I'm very confident.

We're not going to focus on who's going to be our quarterback because that would take away from our team.

Pretty much we don't have a No. 1 quarterback. We have two quarterbacks who are capable of making plays and leading this team ... that doesn't affect me at all in game situations.

Now we can focus on what we can do with one quarterback instead of having controversy and a lot of attention drawn to the team.

You've got to go in with the mind-set that you've got two guys ready to lead this team to victory.
