They're a very fundamentally sound team and an extremely good shooting team from 3-point range. They spread it out on offense. They have a freshman post player who's outstanding, and their guard play is just unbelievable. We'll see (today) how tough our defense is.

Nat did a great job to pace us tonight. The team played with a lot of heart and determination today and I believe we are ready to play in the (Gulf South) conference.

Tampa had a great game plan, but we stuck to ours and in the end our defensive intensity was enough. Our posts played very well today and the guards made the big play when we needed it.
