Nobody really believes that now, but nobody could ever find anything wrong with the classical argument, either. We can now propose what went wrong.

The problem with the classical theory is that you could use any combination of particles to make the black hole -- protons, electrons, stars, planets, whatever -- and it would make no difference. There must be billions of ways to make a black hole, yet with the classical model the final state of the system is always the same.

It's not necessarily going to be kid-friendly, but we don't swear just for the sake of swearing. The joke is happening around the swearing; it's not about the swearing.

We get a big surge of people at 2:30 (a.m. Saturday) because they close the bars at 2. They can come see us unless they want to wait in line at the Waffle House. It's great, because it's a big surge of people who will laugh at anything.

We must be breaking some kind of world record by doing this. We're not in the 'Guinness Book of World Records' or anything, but if we could get sponsorship from Guinness beer, that would be sweet.
