Cricket Kenya has started afresh and we are not ready to think of the past and forward and improve the standards of the sport in the country.

We are in talks with Bangladesh who have expressed an interest, but we are still awaiting a programming schedule. It would be a useful warm-up for us going to Canada and we would welcome that.

For us to restore the lost glory of cricket in the country, my new office decided to change the name and start afresh.

We are prepared to play Zimbabwe in March.

The former KCA council has approved Cricket Kenya as the sole body to manage, run and administer the game of cricket in Kenya.

We have already talked with Zimbabwe with the view of having their team come here before we leave for Bangladesh.

Time of politics in cricket is gone and we are out for serious business of improving standards of cricket in the country.
