We have a lot of young corners that are ready to play. They've prepared well. They're ready. I've done some great things over the last nine years here, and it's part of the business. It just happens sometimes.

I hope I can bring some of the things I've done in the past to a team that's been hurting at that position. I was one of the guys they wanted here from the first day to bring that leadership, that competitiveness. It feels good.

It's hard. It hurts. It's a big void to fill because of what Pat and I have been able to do.

It's not going to be sad. I think the last nine years, if I can put both of my hands up and count the number of big plays that I've given up and there's a big difference in the number of plays that I've made... it's good.

It allows us to get away and stop banging up against our guys and get ourselves and our minds into playing football against other guys. I think it is about time. We've been (at training camp) for 10 or 11 days now and the guys' minds are starting to wonder, go here and there. I think it is about that time. The fans and everybody else are getting ready for football now.

Usually this time of the season takes a nosedive.

It definitely feels good. It would feel better if we were going to the playoffs. But we're winning now, and that's the bottom line. It feels good to be back winning.
