There are always some egos that consider themselves more important then the mission. But the organization needs to take a look at itself ... An organization that represents itself as a humanitarian effort in the world needs to be sensitive to how they treat their volunteers.

They enforced a temporary truce to let the Red Cross and other groups work there. But there were many assassinations and murders during our visits.

Rohan said there have been dramatic improvements. Most of the infrastructure - the roads and water lines, for example - are back in order. They're working hard on reconstructing schools. The country has socialized medicine, and the government clinics are being rebuilt, too.

There are many of us (volunteers) that put our heart and soul in this organization. These volunteers are precious, and they need to be treated that way.
