I don't expect we'll see anything overt in regard to the yen. But we'll know what they've discussed and the market will get the signal.

It certainly shows that he's his own man. But the real revolution here is a power shift within the LDP.

He was put there because he's popular with the electorate. For the most part he does represent the hope for some sort of change. I'm not entirely sure that the electorate wants a lot of change.

What you're seeing here is an attempt by reform politicians to take control away from vested interests. I don't know what to expect, because I simply don't know how powerful these guys are.
