(Hernandez) produced for us. He did very well. He didn't give up anything. There was a part where it seemed like he lost his cool, but other than that I had complete confidence in him.

If they are going to make errors like that, then we have capitalize to on that.

We'll see in practice. We're still juggling things around. We've got to put up a winning combination. I believe today was one, but we had some key errors in certain places.

That's what patience does. When a pitcher is down we've learned to wait and let them throw. Neither of their pitchers were hitting their spots and that was evident so we just jumped all over them.

We needed this blowout. It was an excellent chance to get all our players (playing time).

(Gonzales') curve ball was working and he was hitting his spots. And then in the seventh Levi (Hernadez) came in and brought the heat.

It was an improvement. Once again a little too little, too late. Little errors killed us. Still, I think we can springboard off of this and take it on Thursday (against Burroughs).

I thought we did a great job. They never gave up in this game. They bounced back even after a home run from the opposing team. The stayed focused and played excellent defense. We didn't lose out confidence and we didn't lose our heads. We just stayed focused and figured out what we had to do.

He made a couple mistakes here and there, kept the pitches up, but as the game progressed we knew to bring them down and Matt knew that as well. That's how he was able to close out the game for us.
