Tommy's brand is still vibrant to a certain extent with consumers, but it has been failing for some time, not only with the brand itself and what it stands for with the consumer in terms of leading-edge styling and fashion, but also failing financially, ... The brand is very weak now, but if it's acquired by the right entity I believe the brand can be turned around and can gain its strength back.

Both of the starting pitchers did pretty well. They (pitchers) kind of got off to a rocky start. Then they settled in after that. It made it tough on both sides.

If you want to compare them, talk about the downhill slide of one great brand and the reinvention of another.

Drexler has done a brilliant job there, and very quickly. Too bad Tommy didn't get Mickey Drexler.

It doesn't surprise me that Alan Lacy was squeezed down due to the questionable performance of Sears over the years.

That's a good thing for us. We've got an experienced bunch out there. These kids played last year in the same spots that they're in. So, everybody has got experience and that's what we want to see out there.
