Older cars had those old vacuum windshield wiper systems, and when they went bad it was almost impossible to get parts for them. He was already working with small electric motors and wiring, so he began building the windshield wipers. They are now almost half of our business.

His business died overnight. But he just shifted his focus to making power windows for those restoring the old cars. He had already started doing some of that, and it really took off.
