It was a human error on both ends of the deal - clerical errors, Based on what I know, it had nothing to do with it. This was an unfortunate error - some bad timing.

When people are released from prison, sometimes they have to wait on their ride. It's very common that there's not someone at the front door the second they walk out.

Secretary McDonough has looked at the investigation of the armory incident, and he doesn't like what he sees. Some of these guys have been on paid leave, and he feels as a guardian of taxpayers' money that this is not the way to spend it. He doesn't like people on the payroll who aren't working.

We have placed four employees on administrative leave in an abundance of caution until we can gather the facts ourselves and determine if additional action is warranted.
