It did feel kind of good to get down there and prove to people that West isn't the only team in town that can play some ball.

I think definitely he was preoccupied with his brother's condition and I think he can enjoy it more this year.

We hang out a lot on weekends. It's not one of those teams where you have a group of friends outside. Here your friends are the team. Even though basketball is done, I'm still going to hang out with them. It's pretty cool.

They are a very up-tempo team. They like to press. They are a little bit smaller than the teams we usually play, so they have to spread it out on the perimeter and shoot the 3 and get up and down the court.

If we can slow it down and make it a half-court game and not get frustrated with their press, I think we have a very good chance of winning.

We have great outside shooters and they really stepped it up for us against that zone and got us a good lead. (Going to state) it's unbelievable. I can't put it into words.

I've been playing basketball for a lot of years and this is the most special one. Our team just cared so much for each other and that helped make it special.

We put in a lot of hard work and it's exciting to have it pay off. A lot of seniors put in a lot of work and don't get the chance to go down to state even once. For us to go twice is so special.

Right now it doesn't mean a whole lot because we lost (at state). But when I look back on it, it'll be nice. Right now I'm not thinking too much about the records.
