It was obvious that many of their concerns were accommodated, but yet they kept coming back and coming back for additional things. It was obvious they did not want the Security Council to have a position.

We restate our condemnation of the loss of innocent lives, Palestinian and Israelis, and we call upon the occupying power to do the same.

I regret to inform you that since Friday, April 7, the Israeli occupying forces have killed at least 18 Palestinians, including a 6-year-old boy, and have injured scores more, many critically. The international community must intervene in order to avert more death, destruction and suffering being inflicted by Israel.
