We had trouble judging the wind in the first half and had several chances to score. We did better against the wind in the second half, but those long throw-ins hurt us. Now it's time to see how we bounce back from defeat.

We're moving along where we need to be. Each match, we've stepped forward.

We seemed to fix a lot of the things we needed to (Saturday). I was pleased with our effort and the way we closed out the tournament. It's always good to close out a tournament with a win.

The thing I'd like for us to work on is getting better quality shots. I'd rather us get fewer shots that go in than to take more shots that don't. I'd rather have quality than quantity.

That will be a new twist. I don't see weather being a factor this year.

We missed the playoffs. Ideally, each match is a stepping stone to the next one.

I don't like ties. I have never liked ties, because it always leaves a little bit of a sour taste in your mouth.

This should definitely alleviate any doubts. This is what we were hanging on for.

Matches are always at a quick pace and physical in this tournament. You have to be on your toes every moment. That's a reason we've been back in this tournament for five straight years. All the Garland schools are really talented.
