"Eric John "Rick" Bennett" is a retired United States/American ice hockey Winger (ice hockey)/left winger. He is currently the head coach of the Union Dutchmen ice hockey team at Union College. He coached Union to the NCAA championship in 2014.

Bennett played for Providence College from 1986 to 1990. He was drafted 54th overall by the Minnesota North Stars in the 1986 NHL Entry Draft and played a total of 15 games in the National Hockey League for the New York Rangers.
