Certainly folks are appearing to be more cordial.
Texas public education definitely doesn't have numbers they can brag about. We can only get so far with the resources that we have. It's simple - teachers are getting involved because they are mad. Really, really mad.
We work to elect candidates that believe we have something to offer to the process.
Most of the people of the public education community felt we had a Public Education chair who didn't have a lot of respect for public education employees.
What we are saying to them is, 'Let's do it right,'.
Public education is probably already the most transparent and accountable of any government system. When do we start talking about resources?
