The North American International Auto Show Charity Preview is a wonderful annual event of which we take great pride. This is the sixth consecutive year we've raised over $6 million and the money raised from our supporting attendees will fund numerous programs and services that will help metro Detroit's kids attain a better future.

We are very close to yet another sellout this year, and the tickets are going fast. Yet, there is still a chance that they will be able to purchase tickets if they call right away.

We've seen a 31 percent increase in the press mentions from a year ago. And that doesn't even include the auto buff magazines. When the final report is done, I think it's going to be truly incredible.

Since its inception in 1976, the Charity Preview has raised over $58 million to help children throughout the Detroit area. For example, a single Charity Preview ticket provides free transportation to 16 women for prenatal care appointments and well-baby visits.

It's obvious that these important industry events proved that vehicle design is an essential element of this media-heavy show and a significant draw for the more than 6,000 attending international journalists. Design is an important component that drives our rock star lineup of exclusive, elaborate exhibits as well as jaw- dropping production and concept vehicles.
