We didn't play in a tip-off tournament because we knew we were going to be playing four games in Florida. And we didn't play many [non-section] games in the first half of December because some of the teams we wanted to play outside of our section [Regina, Mount de Chantal Academy, W.Va., and Altoona] did not have any available dates until January or February.

It's a heck of a feat. It seems like every year, the previous year's accomplishments don't mean anything to these girls. They want to get back there.

We've been in a lot of big games this year and we've played an extremely hard schedule. We knew there was a lot of time left when we were down. We just tried to keep our composure.

I'd say we turned the ball over more than we needed to, but I thought our defense was outstanding.

As a coach, I have a number of options (with the makeup of the team) and that's a credit to the players themselves.

Bridget knows she has the green light from outside. She did an outstanding job.

We're not even thinking about the state playoffs yet. We're just focusing on the WPIAL playoffs.

That's how tight our kids are. I'd like to walk to all our games, but we'd have to play here again.

I think it's the same every year. You have to play well, you have to execute on all fronts come the playoffs. I don't think it's any harder because you're trying to repeat or do it for the first time. You have to play well.
