He was selected by the Chicago Bears in the first round of the 2003 NFL Draft, and has also played professionally for the NFL's Houston Texans and Washington Redskins.

As a college quarterback, Grossman led the Florida Gators football/Florida Gators to the 2000 Southeastern Conference (SEC) championship, the 2001 Sugar Bowl, the 2002 Orange Bowl and the 2003 Outback Bowl. He was a consensus first-team All-American and was the runner-up for the Heisman Trophy in 2001.

He completed his first full NFL season in 2006 Chicago Bears season/2006, leading the Bears to a NFC Championship/National Football Conference Championship and a Super Bowl berth. He lost his starting job three weeks into the 2007 season, and primarily served as the team's backup quarterback afterward. He spent a year as a back-up quarterback for the Houston Texans in 2009, before becoming the Washington Redskins' starting quarterback in the final three games of the 2010 season.

It`s not really going to do me any good to be angry, ... I`m a positive person.

We started to run the ball pretty well and moved the ball pretty decently. We had some plays we could have made for a bigger first quarter, but we're still working. It's still early.

I knew right away and I was kind of in denial to start with. But I knew. I heard a pop. I tried to make it work. I was trying to walk it off. I knew right away.

It's smart of them to bring in someone who they feel is a better backup plan, even though I feel like Kyle's a pretty good player, too.

I knew right away and I was kind of in denial to start with. I tried to walk it off but I heard a pop. I got caught in one of those situations where someone kind of twisted me and sat on my leg and you know, what are you going to do?

I knew right away, and I was kind of in denial to start with.

I'm going to naturally make plays. I'm not going to force anything. There's a fine line between just being a gunslinger and running the offense. I'd like to be 90% running offense, with that other 10% being my own personality.

I'm just a positive person and I feel like this is just another bad thing to happen but I know great things are coming for me.
