This is something unprecedented. We've never done this before. There's going to be bugs in it, but we'll work it out the best we possibly can.

It was tough for me to leave that because I enjoyed the people I worked with in my district and the other legislators I worked with.

I'm here to handle the job that is at hand. Who knows what the future will bring?

We have had a great deal of Katrina issues. It was a big learning curve for us and people in the utility industry. The most important thing we need to do is ensure people have reliable electric, phone, gas and water services and keep the rates at or below national averages.
