I think one reason our sacks are up this year is because of the double teams. Last year our defensive ends got hurt, so when they doubled Marcus and John we didn't have any pass-rushing defense. Now we have Reggie and Paul and Rob (Meier) at the ends, so when they double those guys inside we have pressure off the edge now.

They want you to run sideways with them, kind of like a chain. We call it the link. They want the front side of the defense to chase the play and then they cut off the back.

The nose and the linebackers in the middle -- those are the guys that have to stay on their feet and be there when the ball comes back.

They're the best running team in the league, without a doubt. They're the best we've faced.

It doesn't smell like a body is in here, but let's look anyway.

He's definitely a proven player, but he's not a guaranteed starter for us, so he's got to show that he can make a contribution. But he's still a good player and can do some things that will help us win games. But how it pans out, no one knows.
