Our first original singer just pulled it out randomly. We couldn't think of anything better and we've been using it ever since. It's just words that don't make any sense together.

We did a couple of acoustic songs on the first record. These (songs) just worked out for this record. I'd like to look into doing that more; we really enjoy that acoustic stuff.

It's a rubric of fast hardcore and random old blues stuff, like Lemon Jefferson and all these old blues guys. Also old power trios like Mountain and Cream.

We used to have a singer but he didn't work out and we never replaced him. We all do vocals on the record, and live, we, me and Joel, split it up.

We get that all the time; it's pretty cool. People come to see us expecting something else and they end up enjoying our music, liking us.

We write what we know about. It's easy to write songs about things you're familiar with. We're all collective writers.

We've done a few shows in the Southwest before, but this'll be our first time in New Mexico. Playing new places and going to new towns is great. I love to play and travel. The response in new places has been good, not too bad. It's been fun; we've played to good people.
