The majority of the stuff is inside, but it wasn't like that was the only thing he could do. I could put it in his hands, or he could grab the rebound and lead the break for us.

He was our main man. Coming into the season, he knew and all the guys knew. Everyone around knew it also. I got rid of nine seniors last year. Coming in, he was the guy.

I think they got a little sour taste in their mouths from not winning that district title. I think that gave them a little extra hunger. They're not ready for their season to end. In hindsight, it might have been a blessing in disguise to not get that victory. I think it's made them more focused to try and get a nice run in before they're gone.

It was a bad case. It was a real bad case.

They just haven't gotten over the hump. That's been their big thing this year getting over the hump. We may catch them at the right time.

When we go in, we know [Davis] is our man and I think everybody else knows it. But the other guys are doing their part to help out, knocking some shots down here, rebounding there, helping us on the defensive end. Those other guys are doing real well to try to help us.

This was our first time in this situation right here. You can't get mad about it because they're fighting. They did everything that needed to be done to get back into it.

He missed a couple of days of practice. He went to the doctor to get some antibiotics. By the fourth quarter he was on fumes.
