We're all rather surprised about Jean-Marie.

He has forced Armstrong to come out and play!

In the past we've seen the likes of Italian Gilberto Simoni and the German Erik Zabel compete in South Australia, but not really shine.

The (French) people don't dislike (Armstrong). But there are certain elements of the French press that have always gone after him throughout his reign. But they've never proven a thing. It's always been circumstantial. I don't believe he takes drugs.

While McEwen should again figure in the sprinter's jersey, Evans, if he is true to form, could be up for the overall ochre jersey when the race ends.
