It is clear to us that we have strengthened our hand considerably and that governments are going to have to invite us to the table to negotiate the kind of changes that we need for our people.

This situation is entirely unacceptable.

It needs to be addressed immediately. We can't afford to wait.

The challenge is not to debate whether the right exists or not but how to get full effect of the right.

When we talk about an appropriate response, we're talking in the order of $5-billion.

We can't be treated as secondary. We can't be an after-thought.

Unfortunately, many First Nations communities still lack the basic infrastructure to connect to the Internet.

There are at least 100 First Nations communities that are in a boil-water situation. There are at least 40 of those in Ontario.

This is an incredible opportunity for us, and we can't let it slip by.
