Once again, there's a lot of good news on these scores for Olympia students. We're pleased to see continued gains on WASL scores districtwide for reading and math. Our students are making steady progress in these areas.

This seems in line with the direction we're headed but takes it a step further. We're going to be aggressive in reaching out to these kids, and we welcome any additional state support.

They are working with a blank map. The good news is they're making really good progress and working very well together. They've looked at a lot of different information and they really, I think, want to minimize the impact of these boundary changes as much as possible.

We just had great cooperation throughout the district. People really jumped in.

It would depend on the grade level. There's no school that's really got tons of room at all grades.

I think the goal is to make sure that athletes, when they get out in the field, they're in good physical shape and in regular touch with their doctors. Kids grow so fast at that age in two years that it's good to have up-to-date information on those athletes.

Certainly, we're not in a crisis. We just want to make sure we're planning for what's on the horizon.
