I don't think anybody's looking at the Fed meeting because nothing's going to happen there for God knows how long. I think next week you're looking for a continuation of what we saw today... I think you just might get the feeling that there is some good news on the horizon and that the possibility of this market doing better is very, very high.

The shock is gone. It's over. People are focusing on the future.

I just don't know how far we'll be able to go with the Fed helping us out. At some juncture, the numbers as far as earnings are going to have to turn around.

The market seems to have fresh life, fresh enthusiasm. Psychology is what this market is all about and when we feel good, we buy.

You can't really look at values, you can't really look at fundamentals; it's all about psychological reaction today.

If we have had (a recession) or are almost out of a recession, you can see this light at the end of the tunnel. The opportunity for moves on the upside are pretty high.

It's a market of air pockets.

We're getting back to fundamentals. I think you're in that type of environment. There's a better feeling in the economic world, and the market's just doing well. We started off shaky and just picked up by the close.

I think you're looking out two quarters, maybe even three quarters before you start to see a substantive increase in earnings for some of these companies. That, to me, is in a nutshell what's going on in the markets.
