"Paul Leary" is an United States/American musician from Austin, Texas, best known as the electric guitar/guitarist for American rock and roll/rock rock band/band Butthole Surfers. He is also the Record producer/producer of a number of songs and albums by other bands, including U2, Sublime (band)/Sublime, Meat Puppets, Daniel Johnston, The Reverend Horton Heat, Pepper (band)/Pepper, Maggie Walters, Bad Livers, Slightly Stoopid and The Refreshments (Arizona band)/The Refreshments, Tumbledryer Babies, and Sludge Buzzard. Leary's most recent work is producing the debut album Yours Truly (Sublime with Rome album)/Yours Truly by Sublime with Rome.

In 1991, he released a solo album entitled The History of Dogs. In 1994, Leary appeared on the song "Lounge Fly" from the multi-platinum album Purple (album)/Purple by Stone Temple Pilots. He also performed backing vocals on the Meat Puppets and Bad Livers respective renditions of his song "Pee Pee the Sailor".

Paul also appeared on the 1999 John Paul Jones (musician)/John Paul Jones (ex-Led Zeppelin) solo album Zooma and the accompanying tour.

His new band is Carny (band)/Carny whose CD was to be released in 2012. In 2014, he joined the Melvins for their album Hold It In and wrote three songs for it among other contributions.

The businesses don't seem to be overly concerned about it. Many businesses already have good grease removal systems. The ordinance should not cost them a lot of money. I'm sure we will get some people from the establishments at the public hearing. I intend to read the ordinance and Paul Marino will read the proposed regulations aloud.
