We made very good decisions on offense and defense. In our press, we covered everyone well, and once we got a steal, we passed to the right person.

She's like a coach on the court ? she gets the girls together, makes them focus, gives direction out. That maturity level about her is fabulous, she's very unselfish ? too unselfish at times. And in pressure situations, she wants the ball in her hands. She doesn't put up (big) points, but she puts up everything else.

Before this one I told the girls that the rest of the season -- our destiny -- was in their hands. Let's hope this is a sign of our maturity.

Everyone is always out to get the No. 1 seed. Now my girls have a new role. It teaches them to defend what they earned.

We've been like that in several games lately. Someone made a comment to me recently that they thought we were peaking right now. If we are, it's a good time to be peaking.

It's definitely a concern. There is that extra sense of motivation (for the team that lost both games), especially if the games were close.

South Brunswick is an awesome team. South Brunswick is going to be back and more deadly than ever. That's what I worry about.

And we're looking forward to it. As a team, we want to go even further.

One year ago they (the players) were just happy to play. Some didn't even know what the Tournament of Champions was.
