There's still a lot of property to develop. We'll be expanding things across the bypass, and we'll be adding things at what you call Broadway at the Beach proper.

We've talked with several tenants who want to go in there quickly. There's one or two larger tenants that have a project that would eliminate the building altogether.

We think it will be a communitywide economic impact. Will the impact be limited to B&C properties? No. We think it will go far beyond that.

We're not sure to what degree changes will be made. We do know there will be a golf course there. We've always said we'd like to improve it to a degree and keep a connection to its heritage. ... [The board] will have to determine to what extent they want to work the golf course and how much residential they want to do as well.

This is two firsts for the city. It's the first marina within the city limits, and it's the first time the boat show has been able to expand and put boats in their natural habit, the water.

The only thing I can tell you is we are looking for land there and land in four or five other places. We have nothing to announce ... We may or may not find what we want.

For a while anyway, it is not going to be that visible a project. There is no one day that will be more impressive than another.

Growth in that particular area along Grissom has really escalated more than most people would have predicted, and the traffic pattern there is getting heavy. It's time to activate it to protect life.
