It's really a question of whether there's going to be a global unifying standard. You're going to have three different wireless technologies, from three of the biggest [carriers] in the U.S. I think that's something to consider in terms of the applications that will be available, and people being able to use them.

They have established a very good brand, but is it worth any money?

AOL would do everything in their power to get [the merger] through. It would sell as much as possible. But they might not have to sell anything.

WorldCom and AT&T basically have a duopoly on Fortune 500 customers.

I would love to see AT&T break up. It's a great move and would create value for the shareholders.

The fact that they can double their voice capacity is a claim you're not hearing much from other carriers.

It's going to be an all-out war. But this deal definitely can be done.

This is a major disappointment.

Most carriers could really use some capital right now, because many still have to build out their networks.
