Early on, I think I saw some things in them I don't think they could see. The way we played later in the season, we should have been able to play early on.

It was a variety of everything. We had a lot of adversity to overcome, whether it was our doing or (Lauderdale County's).

It was a combination of people I've been involved with - my high school coach and especially my college coach, who instilled a lot of character. I picked up on a lot of different things that worked for me in high school and college that fit into the type person I was - and the girls bought into it.

I thought the play was good, but I wish we could have had more intensity coming out. But I'm never going to be fully satisfied because I push them very hard.
