"Olindo Franco Mare" is a former American football placekicker. He was originally signed by the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent in 1996. He played college football at MacMurray College and Syracuse Orange#Football/Syracuse.

Mare, who was selected to the Pro Bowl in 2000 Pro Bowl/1999, has also played for the Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints, Seattle Seahawks, Carolina Panthers and Chicago Bears.

It wasn't really anything of any concern. Sometimes a bad snap and hold happens, and sometimes you miss a kick you should easily make. We worked those problems out. I don't think field-goal execution is a concern.

Matt was a good buddy. He got hurt, though. I don't think it really mattered, friendship or no friendship. You can't punt when you're hurt. That's why they got Donnie, and Donnie had a good game.

I'm sure they do all that stuff on points. But I know they don't take kickoffs into consideration.

You can also have problems with the wind on that end of the stadium. If it is blowing east to west, it hits the stadium and turns around in your face. The dirt isn't too bad when it is drizzling. When it is wet, you don't know what will happen. Every year is a different set of conditions with the dirt.
