She's one of the best players in the area. She just needs more experience.

We're excited for the playoffs, but we need to beat St. Hubert's [Feb. 7] and Archbishop Ryan [Feb. 9], which will be tough matches.

She can handle the ball. She can shoot the ball, she can rebound the ball and she can pass the ball. It's unusual for a freshman to be able to do all that at this level.

She had the ball constantly and she shared the ball constantly. When she had to score, she scored. And she's never played guard before in her life. She was always a four or five. It's like she was born with a second instinct.

I think we're in a groove. They're playing well together and feeding off of each other.

They [Wood] play very physically, and the referees were giving them the calls, and we were committing many fouls.

If that would have happened last year, they would have quit and went home. That hasn't happened this year; we've competed in every single game.

Our goal for this season was to win more than we lose, and we have far surpassed that goal. We've made some huge strides this year, and we didn't perform up to par tonight, we can do much better.

I told them when I came in that if they wanted to play here they had to play year-round.
