It betters us in the long run. If we wrestle those harder teams now and keep building up until the final then we are just getting better as a team. And that's what our goal is - to get better as a team.

This will be my fourth year going there. We lost in the quarterfinals my freshman year and the title match the last two years. There's only one thing left to do -- win it.

Now I'm facing my buddy. We're going to bring home a title for the KVC, no matter who wins, and bring pride to our entire community. We haven't had a state champ in a long time, and the KVC has been dying for one, especially at heavyweight.

We've beaten every team out there and now we know we can do it. Now we just have to go out there and win a state championship.

We knew we were working hard so we knew we could do it. We executed and got it done. We did everything perfect and we got nine champs and everyone placed. That was our goal to get everyone to place and we did. We feel good but we feel incomplete because we are not finished yet. We are out to win the state championship and that's what we're striving for.

I wouldn't do too much but I'd razz him up a bit. Sometimes things come up at opportune times and we need to develop this opportunity and get it.
