"Neal George Joseph Schon" is an American rock music/rock guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist best known for his work with the bands Journey (band)/Journey and Bad English. He is Journey's last original constant member, having participated in every album and tour to date. He was also a member of the rock band Santana (band)/Santana before forming Journey.

Schon was inducted into the Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame on August 23, 2013.

It's an education on what we've done.

Our original fans really had a hard time. But then we gained a whole slew of brand-new fans that outweighed the initial fans.

I wanted to do something that was a bit more rock 'n' roll. Because, believe me, I did not have the brains or the dexterity on the instrument to be so complex as John McLaughlin was. So I think we did a rock 'n' roll version of that.

What's cool about our name -- it means that it just keeps moving.

I was done with it.

There are some people that just will not accept us. But then, there are a whole lot of young people that completely love us.

It's still fun. We've got a great built-in audience, regardless of whether we're getting played on TV or the radio.

It's a celebration of everything we've ever done.
