I thought Britt had a good look at it right there at the buzzer and it just didn't go in.

Malden is awfully talented and that talent along with their depth finally just wore us down. We kind of controlled the tempo the first half but their ability to continue to hit the boards and run the floor just took us completely out of the game the second half.

He does a good job night in and night out. Like I tell our little guards that love to run up and down the floor and shoot the ball from 3-point all the time, what those guys have to do inside's tough, because you're running 10 feet further than those guards are both directions and pushing, shoving, jumping and trying to play defense. That's physically a tough game.

We have a couple of guys, especially Britt Arnold and Doug Johnson, that have good shots and good form. If they've got a second or two to line themselves up, they're both capable of getting hot to the point of where they can make four or five in a row. I just keep telling them and preaching that that's not going to happen every night, though.

We had our chances against a good Clarkton team and just did not get it done. We missed a lot of easy shots the first half, got into foul trouble and then stopped scoring. Hard to win when you allow the other team to shoot 26 more free throws than you do.
