Jerry did a good job throwing the ball and the kids did a good job catching the ball. That's what we've been trying to get through to the kids, just take care of the little things and they big things take care of themselves. Like the scoreboard did (Saturday).

It's beautiful. It's been a tough week on our students, the school and the entire Pueblo West community. Of course our thoughts and prayers are with Jerry's family. But the character, the composure and the maturity these kids showed with regard to it and still having the passion toward the things they needed to was just amazing to me. That's the important stuff.

It wasn't much of a rivalry until we started winning a few games. This works its way toward that a little bit. Hopefully, we'll get a few more in the years to come but we're just going to enjoy this one right now. The kids did a great job.
