The win was fulfilling because we beat Washington in front of a big home crowd.

We haven't been starting very fast, but we've been ending games very well.

We know we are a good team and we want to turn it around. Our sense of urgency comes from knowing we are not playing as well as we should be.

Emotionally, this (win) was so big for us. We played hard for 90 minutes and actually got better as the game went on. (San Diego) is much better than their record indicates. This (win) was a major step forward for us.

It's frustrating. We played great until the last seven minutes. We just couldn't finish (the game). But this was our third game on the road in five days against three very good teams. To be down by a goal on the road at halftime and to come back showed a lot of character.

Washington is a young team, but they're very good. This is the best team we've beaten since I've been here.

We made good adjustments at halftime. We committed more to denying them the ball.
