That can be a little draining. You can get sick of traveling. But it also has been an unbelievable team-building experience.

People still look at Longwood a certain way. This game here, it's enormous for us. When we go out and represent ourselves the way we did tonight, the questions are less and less.

After the game, I told them we are going to be undefeated on the road for the next eight months.

My comparison would be, if a team like team Virginia had to play without Sean Singletary and J.R. Reynolds, what would their answers be? That's where we sat tonight going into this game.

We wanted them to shoot jumpers and they made them. They were shooting 3s lights out.

He clearly is the leader of our team. He's the vocal leader. He's the guy that pulls everyone together. His effort and performance have been consistent ever since we came back to school. So I don't look at it as 'I see Mike Jefferson isn't going to be playing any more, so let me do more.' He just continued playing the way he was playing. It just so happens that his production has increased.

Being realistic about a game like this, we talk about these as opportunities. We want to take advantage of them; we're still in the infant stages of building a Division I basketball program.

There isn't anything more important for us.
