I was running up high in the corner and he just came in there and tried to bounce me out of the groove.

Teaming with Dale Earnhardt Inc. and Dale [Earnhardt] Jr. for the past five years has been the highlight of my NASCAR Nextel Cup career to date. I look toward my future with NAPA and BDR with gratitude to DEI for the memories and friendships I have formed.

A lot of people might look at it as a step back, but I certainly don't.

There's no reason, with Bill's experience and what I bring to the table, that we can't do that.

Inappropriate gesture during a televised broadcast.

I like the way Bill does business and he has created a strong organization. NAPA and I look forward to continuing our winning ways at Bill Davis Racing on the track, as well as extending our successful marketing efforts off the track.

I've never had a problem with Robby, ... Like I said, I just held my ground is all I did and he just decided he wanted to take that place from me instead of working for it.
