"Michael Wesley Redd" is an American former professional basketball player. He was drafted 43rd overall by the Milwaukee Bucks in the 2000 NBA Draft. He was born in Columbus, Ohio, where he attended West High School (Columbus, Ohio)/West High School. He was also a member of the U.S. national basketball team.

Standing 6 feet 6 inches (1.98 m) tall and weighing 215 pounds (98 kg), Redd spent both his collegiate and professional career at the shooting guard position.

They just kept hitting shots. It was one of those nights where they kept hitting shots.

Not to put down last year's team, ... but we got better.

Because you can die by it, too.

We struggled. We had a lot of open looks, but it wasn't our night to hit them. We just never got in a rhythm from the three-point line. But once again, we try not to live by that.

I like our future. I like the potential. It's going to be great, ... I want to stay humble, continue to work hard at practice ... staying together in tough times and tonight was the test of tough times, and we passed the test tonight.

I'm not worried about the competition out there. I wish the best for everybody. Obviously, there are a lot of guards out there. We'll see what happens. I feel like I'm one of the ones that's up there.

That's disappointing. I don't know if we weren't aggressive enough or if it was their defense.

The key is to contain everybody else around him. Then, you have a chance to win.
