Everyone on the team, including Pete, was drug-tested, ... I'm happy to say no one on the Ducks tested positive.

The league does drug testing and his results, along with the rest of the Ducks' results, came out negative.

Being a star in your own hometown, that's got to be a great feeling.

Armando has been a constant spark for our team. Whenever we need a big hit, he seems to through. He is just one of those guys that refuses to lose.

He got off to a real bad start with us this year, ... but then he settled in. He hit about .260 with 14 home runs in about 350 to 400 at-bats. Mostly, he played first base and DH (designated hitter). He was pretty popular with the fans; he had that name.

Obviously, this is something that happened [several] years ago when he was not with the Ducks and we didn't have knowledge of it. Obviously, it saddens us. While he was with us, he was a good guy.

Our organization is in the thick of the pennant race and we want as many people at the park as possible. The support of the best fans in baseball is what fuels our play on the field, so we're hoping to see people come out and take advantage of this opportunity.
