He's a world-class player and he showed that today. I was on the back foot with nine holes to play. He just played awesome.

He played great on the first nine holes. That's good golf and you can't control that.

It was a tough battle and it was a great match to win.

Seeing Retief's backside all day today was quite different.

It's a slap in the face to the sponsors.

It's a little bit disheartening that here we have the biggest (first) prize in the (golf) world and half the guys don't turn up.

Seeing Retief's backside all day today was quite different. Obviously, he played great and he was holing all his putts.

Obviously they (sponsors HSBC) have the best players available this week and for certain reasons they are not here. To the public eye, it doesn't look good, I don't think.

I put on some new insoles in my shoes on Tuesday and they really hurt me. I'm struggling to walk around right now but my swing was okay. Every time I took a step, I felt pain. I have to see the physiotherapist … I think it'll be fine for the rest of the week.
