My vision is to have an advisory board for everything that we as a commission defined as a priority. That way, we will really know that we are representing our citizenry when we implement a new ordinance or make a change. I think that's important.

So they automatically get put in the public record.

I know that it's a piece of property important to the county. I would like to see how important. I would like to see if the city can acquire it without having to pay the price.

I don't expect this commission to revisit every issue that we decide because there are few people that are upset. I think it needs to be re-addressed, but we need to make some sort of decision and stick with it.

We have come to a place where the constituents of the County Council and the City Commission should be proud. We will be protecting everyone's interest and we do it together. Hopefully this will be second of many, many meetings.

You want to talk about the good fight, this is the good fight.

That is one of the more crucial things we have to talk about right now. It is something that will be a priority for me. It's something that I am going to be working on. I am not going to let it die.
