I have never scored in overtime in my career. What made it special tonight is that we hung on and found a way to win. We showed a lot of heart.

I am really happy to be staying here with the Kings and excited about the direction we are headed. This organization is committed to winning and I am thrilled that they want me to continue to be apart of it.

With the new rules, if you've got the puck with some speed, it's tough for the opposition to stop you.

You'd like to say I did my job. But no one on our team did that tonight. It was the guys on the other side that did tonight.

Not being on the power play very often, you look at your own power play sometimes. I know how tough it is to kill (the power play) shot after shot. We didn't have a lot of shots on that 4-on-3 so I felt if I got the chance, I'll let one go.

Last year I wore one for four weeks when I played for my old team in Sweden. Everyone born there later than 1965 has to wear one. It's tough when you're not used to one.

They walked all over us. A loss like this you start to talk about pride. As a team, as individuals, we got embarrassed out there.
